Night Flights Pack For MEPs
On September 20th 2005 UECNA presented it's Night Flights Pack to 40 MEPs, assistants and journalists.
The pack contains 3 UECNA/Greenskies briefing sheets on night flights in the EU.
As the European constitution is postponed the plans to use the proposed citizens initiative are on hold. UECNA
is working with the Brussels institutions to use the evaluation of the Noise directive,
which will take place in 2007, to get in some EU guidelines on Night Noise.
Nobody expects a ban on night flights in the noise directive, but the "action
plans" offer an opportunity to open discussions on a national level.
